Rules of admission to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 2020
If you have just finished school, have already received a high school diploma and have already passed the External Independent Assessment, it is time to choose a future profession. You will enter the bachelor’s degree – this is the first level of higher education. Your studies at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” will last 4 years. As a result, you will receive a diploma of higher education and the right to continue your education at the next level – a master’s degree.

Coefficients of competitive subjects
- Competitive score
- The maximum score is 200.
The competitive score of the graduate is multiplied by the coefficient:
- regional – 1.00— for the city of Kyiv;
- branch – 1.02— for applications with priority 1 and 2 on 131 specialty which has special support (appendix 2 of rules of admission), in other cases – 1.00;
- rural – 1.02 – for graduates of rural schools in 2020, 1.05 for applications for 131 specialties that have special support (Annex 2 of the rules of admission).
Additional points
Except to additional points for the Academy of Sciences, Olympiads, championships, there are additional points for participation in Olympiads for entrants to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. For technical specialties (Appendix 2 of the rules of admission) can be awarded from 1 to 20 points for one of the subjects, but not more than 200 points.
Main dates of the admission campaign for the 1st year: (due to quarantine dates may be changed)
August 1 – the beginning of registration of electronic offices of entrants, upload of necessary documents;
August 13 – submission of applications and documents;
August 16 – the end of the acceptance of applications and documents for entrants who take the entrance exams / creative competitions / interviews;
August 22 – end of acceptance of applications and documents;
August 27 – publication of rating lists of entrants based on the results of the EIT and recommendations for enrollment in public procurement;
August 31 – end of acceptance of originals on the budget;
September 5 – order to enroll entrants from the state or local budget.
The cost of study in 2020/2021 academic year in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, at specialty 131 Applied Mechanics:
for the first level (bachelor) of higher education
- 15600 UAH / year (full-time form of education);
- 10600 UAH / year (external form of education).

Specialty 131 “APPLIED MECHANICS” is a specialty that teaches to design and build machines, but in fact it is an opportunity to get the best technical education and become a true master of engineering. Applied mechanics – a specialty of a broad profile, which will allow you within the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute to learn to understand the components of large-scale industrial production, to understand the structure of any industrial system and even aircraft and spacecraft. You will know how the latest computer technologies are implemented in production, operate all the necessary programs freely and develop state-of-the-art approaches to industry optimization. The scholarship in our specialty is 1660 UAH / month, and the increased 1960 UAH / month. You can also win nominal scholarships more than UAH 3,000 / month.

If you graduated from college or technical school and received a diploma of a junior specialist, you have the right to enter on the basis of your diploma at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute ” for the first year, but study in a shortened program for 3 years instead of 4. You will enter the bachelor’s degree is the first level of higher education
If you have chosen a specialty in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is included in Appendix 2 to the Conditions of Admission to Higher Education Institutions in 2020, you have the right to pass entrance examinations in the subjects required for admission, or to recalculate the grades obtained in the External Independent Assessment, if you passed it, and apply for places by state order, if they are provided in this specialty.
If your chosen specialty is not included in Annex 2 to the Conditions of Admission to Higher Education in 2020, you must choose a related specialty (i.e. a specialty that continues the training you have already received) and apply to study under the state order, if places for the chosen specialty are provided, or if you change a specialty or a related specialty at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky” is not, then you can only apply for training at the expense of individuals and legal entities (contract).
Remember – if you are going to take exams at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, you need to submit documents from July 10 to August 22 inclusive! Entrance exams will begin on August 23. Do not miss the opportunity!

Expiration of the term of fulfillment of the requirements for enrollment by entrants participating in the competitive selection to places financed at the expense of individuals and legal entities not later than 5 pm September 29 *
Terms of enrollment of entrants:
by state order- no later than September 5;
at the expense of individuals and legal entities- no later than September 30
* in case of availability of vacancies, by the decision of the Admissions Committee, the terms may be extended.
