Associate Professor, PhD, Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine
Vitaliy Ivashchenko graduated from the department in 1960, worked as an assistant, graduated from graduate school, in 1966 he defended his dissertation.
He taught courses “Fundamentals of professional activity”, “Metal processing by pressure” (for students of the Faculty of Engineering Physics), “Stamping of plastics”, “Technology of forging and stamping equipment and stamping equipment”, “Fundamentals of stamping technology”. The course “Technology of hot stamping and design of dies” reads now.
Science interest
Supervisor of scientific works on vibration pulse molding of products from powder materials. The technology of manufacturing high-quality large-sized products from non-plastic powders is developed and introduced into production.
Head of scientific work on the technology of cellular ceramics. Developed and protected by patents technology for the manufacture of high quality ceramics with a cellular structure, which significantly increases the performance properties for various purposes: building materials, facing slabs, refractory materials, heat and sound insulation materials, road ceramics, materials for hydroponics.
Vitaliy Ivashchenko is the author of 106 published scientific works, nine of which were published abroad, incl. four in the United States.
- Ivashchenko – organizer (1959) and Artistic Director of the Student Comedy Variety Theater KPI “ETA”, playwright, director, actor. ETA Theater is a laureate of all All-Union festivals of amateur art. In 1987, he, the only student theater in Ukraine, was granted the status of a state studio theater by a decision of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine and the Kyiv Executive Committee, and for five years (until 1992) he worked as a professional theater. For work in the theater V. Ivashchenko was charged as a director and actor of the highest category and he was awarded the honorary title of Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine.
Now associate professor Yevhen Ivashchenko (younger brother VVI) works with the theater. ETA Theater invites students to the acting group without any exams. Author and presenter of popular science programs “Information and scientific and technological progress”, “Science and Life”, “Teletechnology” and educational series “Ask – answer” and “Law is law”. Author and performer of the poetic television series (11 TV programs) “Five minutes for the soul”. He is the author and host of two TV documentaries: “The Night of the Birth of the Constitution” (1987), “Pride of Ukraine” (about the Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant), as well as several educational TV films on the codification of Ukrainian civil law.

For successful work on television he was awarded the Diploma of the State Committee of the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR for Television and Radio Broadcasting (1975) and Diplomas of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy (2002) and the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine (2004).
Vitaliy Ivashchenko is the author of 15 poetic collections of philosophical and love lyrics. His book of selected poems “We are Ukrainians!” at the Kyiv International Book Fair “Book World – 2007” was awarded a special diploma “For significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian poetry.” It has its own poetry site: “viiv.co.ua”, which presents all the books that can be downloaded for free. There are about 20 hours of video presentations of books, poetic TV shows, and performances of the ETA Theater on YouTube.
